PEREMPUAN MELAYU KAWIN DI GEREJA....APA DAH JADI?

Former prime minister Kevin Rudd's son Nicholas married his fiancee Zara Shafruddin at St James's Anglican Church in Sydney yesterday. The wedding was kept secret until the former prime minister announced the event on Twitter yesterday.
"Beautiful wedding today here in Sydney for our oldest son Nick to his beautiful bride Zara. Two very proud parents," he wrote. Advertisement: Story continues below
The couple met at the wedding of Jessica, the oldest child of Mr Rudd and his wife Therese Rein in Brisbane in May 2007. Jessica Rudd, who had also announced her pregnancy on Twitter last November, wrote on Twitter yesterday that her future sister-in-law was "a breathtaking bride". "I wept when I saw her. Preggy hormones are bad for make-up. Thrilled for Nick and Zara," she wrote.
Nicholas Rudd, 26, proposed to his fiancee during an Easter holiday in the Czech Republic in April 2010. Ms Shafruddin, 27, said she was surprised when he went down on his knees.
"I was not expecting it, but I couldn't be happier. Not only is he incredibly intelligent, generous and kind, I know I've found my soul mate in him," Ms Shafruddin said. The newlyweds, both lawyers, work at international law firm Clayton Utz in Sydney.

FRIENDS who could not attend yesterday's Sydney wedding of Kevin Rudd and Therese Rein's eldest son were kept informed of the special day by regular tweets.
As Nick Rudd, 25, and Zara Shafruddin exchanged vows at St James' Church in King St, Sydney, Mr Rudd, his wife Therese Rein and their daughter Jessica all tweeted throughout the ceremony.
"Had a beautiful, joyful morning yesterday going to Flemington flower market and then preparing the church with the St James' flower ladies," Ms Rein tweeted, while pregnant Jessica followed with: "Zara is breath-taking".
The wedding was attended by close friends and family of the couple. St James' Church was filled with roses, lillies and stephanotis, all chosen with care by Ms Rein.
After the ceremony, the couple were escorted in a limousine to Catalina in Rose Bay for the reception.
"Lovely day today here. A little scattered cloud, 24 degrees. Perfect for their wedding. Big smile," tweeted Ms Rein, while her husband paid tribute to his million or so followers: "Thanks for the kind wishes".  - The Telegraph
